So George says to Tony, ' ... '
After their joint news conference on Thursday, the Washington Post reports, George Bush and Tony Blair went, alone, on a "four-mile walk through the woods."
It seems so incongruous. I can't imagine what the two of them could have had to say to each other, at such a time and in such a place, stripped of their respective offices and their trappings, naked before the world. Just two unfamiliar men, some dirt and rocks and trees, a few random banalities, and a world of unspoken difference between them.
Addendum: Maybe they sang to each other? (4MB MPEG file — but worth it — via TMN)
