But how do you really feel?

New York magazine's article on AOL Time Warner's perhaps ill-conceived construction project in Manhattan (the company is building a new, vertically oriented corporate headquarters in Columbus Circle) gives us a taste of the rancor between the old media Time Warner types and their new, new media brethren:

"We were never supposed to move in [to the new headquarters]," says one Time Inc. executive who works at the magazine division's stately, modernist headquarters at 1271 Sixth Avenue. "It'd make sense for us to consolidate. There's not enough room here. But Columbus Circle is about them — the AOL assholes — not us."

They need to go appoint a new VP of We're All in this Together, or something.
