He likes it

The New Yorker's Anthony Lane is at his best with a skewer; if Hollywood's more lamentable failures of extravagance, vanity and artless gesticulation have any redeeming value, it lies in the chance that Lane will gleefully dissect them. So it was disappointing to read his review of "Minority Report," which begins:

The worst thing about the new Steven Spielberg picture is the title, "Minority Report." The best thing about it is pretty much everything else.

Oh well. He continues on in much the same vein for almost two pages, too; now I guess I'll have to go see the dang flick. Maybe I can catch a matinee — then he'll only have cost me $5.
