A very good movie

"The Seven Samurai" (IMDB/Amazon) is over three hours long. It was made almost 50 years ago, shot in drab and patchy black and white, with terrible sound. And it's about nothing so much as human misery, sacrifice, and loss.

And at no time while I watched it did I want it to stop.

That could possible by the most moving and sincere movie endorsement I have ever read.

I confess, I really like Kurosawa's movies. Good stuff.
