The Museum of Weird Books offers its visitors a stern warning:
The various images on this page and on the interior pages may take some time to load, please be patient and read our captions while you are waiting.
We would also like to point out they are not for the faint of heart. Although all the texts are presented in a straightforward, non-purient manner, some of the subject matter is, how should we say, of a mature nature. Proceed with your own judgment and good taste.
I think you need not fear. But in case any of the "faint of heart" feel left out, there are also a list of the strangest books ever written, compiled by an English professor on Amazon.com, and StrangestBooks.co.uk, which seems innocent enough (but beware the embedded sound files and the animated GIFs!). (You won't be able to order the books StrangestBooks promotes until August of this year, the site tells us, however; the books, from what I gather, catalog some of the strange pubs, "underground places," tours and homes one can find in Britain.)
