That's what she said
Échangisme is making a comeback in Paris, according to the New York Times. "Échangisme" is French for "swinging" — the practice of having sex with people you've just met (of course).
The French offer quite a range of reasons for échangisme's recent resurgence, including these two, offered outside a private club called Cléopâtre:
"Basically, my wife and I come because it is good for the relationship," Jean-Luc, a Cléopâtre regular, said recently. "When you play outside the customary roles, you see your partner in a different way, and you can combat the inevitable boredom of marriage." As for Jean-Luc's wife, Sybille, échangisme is, she said, "something more interesting than the movies" to do on a Saturday night.
Maybe Hollywood truly is responsible for the moral decay of today's society, after all.
