Signs of spring
Ways you know you're not the only one who thinks it's spring:
- You find yourself on a longer walk than you'd originally intended;
- you there discover that the ponds in the forest are swimming with frogs (and buzzing with their croaks);
- the turtle you encounter on the trail actually hisses at you before hiding his face; and
- you spot not one, but two garter snakes.
Of course, the middle-aged guy in the pretty-damn-funny red running suit you passed on the trail is an even better sign, but don't mention that — it'll ruin the effect.
